His full name was Sahabzade Irfan Ali Khan. Irfan’s father owned a small shop. They used to trade tires.

They often say that a Brahmin was born in the Pathan family. Irfan himself told the story of his struggle on several forums. His father passed away when he entered NSD. After this, Irfan stopped getting financial help from home. Somehow, he completed his studies through fellowship from NSD. Irfan Khan met Sutpa Sikandar in NSD. They fell in love with Sutpa and then both of them got married on 23 February 1995. Till then, Irrfan was not stable in Bollywood, but even after this, Sutpa always stood with him during the days of Irfan’s struggle.

During this time, his health deteriorated slightly, but he completed the film. He could not become a part of the promotion of the film. The actor died on April 29, 2020, a few days after the film’s release. People will always remember his strong acting and excellent dialogue delivery. The actor’s last film ‘The Song of Scorpions’ will be released this year.
